The Orphan

No Mother or Father  from the time of her birth this Orphan don’t even know what it’s like to live in a home.

She is by the street side all broken on the inside, as tears slowly run down her eyes all she can clearly see is people all passing by won't even stop to say hi, all they do is watch her at the corner of their eyes .

Her belly is growling, looking for food by the bin side asking herself what can she really find.
Bread crumbs with moles and remainders of chewed chicken bones that’s all she has known.

She is shivering, goosebumps keep popping up, she is very cold the patched up clothes she has on her  just isn't enough to keep her warm in the cold. Her eyes are red she can’t even sleep, mosquito’s and flies are on her like a leech.

No bed or pillows cardboard is what she used, she has no clue of what they call a bed to sleep on. She is all alone bitterness and loneliness are her best of friends.

The hope in her eyes was fading , Miss invisible is what she called herself because they all passed by like she was not even  there,  "Am i dead?" is what  she  would often ask herself.

The time was near where things was about to take a turn where a very old lady was   crossing the road and  as she got on the other side  she saw this young  girl with the lost of hope in her eyes,  it broke her heart and soul to see this poor little girl , all alone with no one by her side .

The conversation was long between the two no mother or father the old lady understood, so much to agree on between the two so amazing how the elderly lady told her I was just like you. So she took her hand and told her let’s go, I  know where I’m going is not the best but this place is definitely not where you should find your rest.

Finally she found herself a person who cared. What made it so amazing is that the old lady was an orphan too.
